Here is a list of novels that your child will be reading this year. We will begin reading on October 21, 2013. If your child does not have the assigned novel by this date (10-21-13) reading points will be taken off each day. If you would like to order the books through me, I will be sending an order this Thursday. Here is the breakdown of the books and prices:

3rd grade- Freaky Friday by Mary Rodgers. $7.00
                - Akiak by Robert J. Blake. $7.00

4th grade- Alice's Adventure in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass. $5.00
               - Bat 6 by Virginia Euwer Wolff. $7.00

5th grade- Bridge to Terabithia by Katherine Paterson. $7.00
                -Which Way to Freedom by Joyce Hanson. $7.00
                - The Last Battle by C.S. Lewis. $7.00
      

Please check your children's homework to make sure that it is complete. Too many students are turning in incomplete and/or missing assignments. If this continues, students will not be able to attend  future field trips.
There is a great way to check how your child is doing. Please give me a working email address and I'll send you a link to "Engrade". There, you'll be able to look at your child's homework, classwork, tests, and any missing work they might have.
